Aciloc Tablets (20 MG, 40 MG) contains Esomeprzole in it which is an ulcer healing drug. Meanwhile, Esomeprazole Tablets inhibits gastric acid by blocking the proton pump of the gastric perital cells. On the other hand, Aciloc Tablets use for the short term treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers and in gastro oesophageal reflux diseases with severe symptoms. It also used in combination with antibacterials for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori.

Aciloc Tablets Indication

Aciloc (Esomeprazole) Tablets Capsules used for:-

• In the treatment of peptic ulcer disease.
• For the treatment of Gastric Ulcer
• For Zollinger Ellison syndrome
• In the treatment gastro oesophageal reflux disease.
• NSAID Associated Ulceration.
• In the treatment of peptic ulcer as a component of triple therapy reginmen with amoxycillin and clarithromycin.

Aciloc (Esomeprazole) Tablets Contraindications

Aciloc (Esomeprazole) tablets contraindicated in patient with known hypersensitivity to drug or any component of the formulation.

Aciloc (Esomeprazole) Drug Interactions

• Aciloc (20 MG, 40MG) Esomeprazole metabolized by the cytochrome p-450 system, primarily by isoenzyme cyp2c19, and may alter, the metabolism of other drugs metabolised by these enzymes.
• On the other hand, Esomeprazole Tablets can reduce the absorption of ketoconazole, and possibly intraconazole. Whose absorption dependent on an acid gastric pH.
• With voriconzole, the plasma concentration of both drugs may increased and a reduced dose of Esomeprazole Tablet is recommended.
• On the other hand, use of Esomeprazole Tablets with clarithromycin result in an increase in peak plasma concentration of esomeprazole. And an increase in its mean half-life.
• Most importantly, It may prolong the elimination of diazepam, phenytoin and warfarin.
