Dicloran Tablets(50 MG, 100MG) Injection contains a drug named Diclofenac Sodium which considered as an NSAID. Meanwhile, Diclofenac Sodium is also categorized as a simple phenylacetic acid derivative. On the other hand, it resembles both the flurbiprofen and meclofenamate. This medicine reduces fever and inflammation and also relieves pain.

Dicloran Tablets Uses

Dicloran (diclofenac sodium ) 50 MG Tablets or Injections indicated and uses for treatment of signs & symptoms of

• Rheumtoid arthritis
• Osteoarthritis
• Low back pain
• Active musculoskeletal disorder,
• Peri-athritis
• Tendonitis
• Trnosynovitis
• Bursitis
• Sprains
• Dislocations
• Relief of pain in fractures
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Acute gout
• Control pain and inflammation in orthopedic
• Dental and other minor surgeries

In addition it also used in other painful and/or inflammatory conditions like dysmenorrhoea, infection of ear, nose or throat.

Dicloran Tablet Injection Dosage And Administration

For the relief of osteoarthritis, the recommended dicloran dosage is 100-150 mg/day in divided doses (50mg b.i.d or t.i.d or 100mg q.d ). Meanwhile, for the relief of rheumatoid arthritis the recommended Diclorean dose is 150-200 mg/day in divided doses (50mg t.i.d or q.i.d or 100mg q.d or b.i.d). On the other hand, for the relief of spondylitis, the recommended diclofenac sodium dose is 100 mg/day in divided doses.

On the other hand, Dicloran Injection usually administered 1 ampoule of 3ml once a day. Or use as directed by the doctor or pharmacist.

Dicloran Tablets Contraindication

Most importantly, Dicloran 50 MG Use contraindicated in, Acute & suspected peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. On the other hand, in known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any other NSAIDs.

Dicloran Tablets Injection Special Warnings And Precautions

Firstly, the symptoms or history of gastrointestinal disease, asthma, impaired hepatic, cardiac or renal function. NSAIDs may mask infections or temporarily inhibit platelet aggregation.

However, In late pregnancy as with other NSAIDs, it should be avoided as it may cause premature closure of ductus heterosis.

Dicloran Tablet Injections Side effects

Like all the medications Dicloran Tablets Injection also shown some side effects. Firstly, there are occasional gastrointestinal disorders, headaches, dizziness, vertigo, rashes, the elevation of serum transaminases, the local reaction after IM injection. On the other hand, Rare gastric or intestinal ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, abnormalities of renal function, hypersensitivity reactions also shown.

Dicloran Tablet Injections Drug Interactions

Aspirin:

When diclofenac administered with aspirin its protein binding is reduced. Meanwhile, As with other NSAIDs, concomitant administration of diclofenac and aspirin not generally recommended because of the potential of increased adverse effects.

Methotrexate, Cylosporine:

Consequently, Diclofenac like other NSAIDs, through effects on renal prostaglandins, may cause increased toxicity of certain drugs. On the other hand, Methotrexate serum level may be elevated as well as cyclosporine nephrotoxicity.

Lithium:

However, Diclofenac Sodium decreases lithium renal clearance and increases its plasma level. Therefore, In patients taking diclofenac and lithium concomitantly, lithium toxicity may develop.

Diuretics:

Diclofenac Sodium and other NSAIDs can inhibit the activity of diuretics. Meanwhile, Concomitant treatment with potassium-sparing diuretics may be associated with increased serum potassium levels.

Clopidogrel:

Increased effects / Toxicity: When used with other drugs that can cause increased bleeding risk such as heparins, warfarin, NSAIDs, and other antiplatelet drugs.

Dicloran Tablets Injections Storage Instructions

Most importantly, always keep the medicines out of the reach of the children. On the other hand, store Dicloran Tablets, Injection within 15 C to 30 C room temperature. Meanwhile, also avoid heat and direct sunlight exposure.
