Melas Cream and Melas H Cream contains Fusidic Acid and Hydrocodone in it. Meanwhile, Fusidic Acid is a steroid antibiotic which used to treat the infections caused by penicillin resistant staphylocococci. Melas Compostion:

Melas Cream / Ointment

Each cream gram contain: Fusidic acid 20 mg / Sodium Fusidate 20 mg in neutral base.

Melas-H Cream

Each gram Contains: Fusidic acid 20 mg and hydrocortisone acetate 10 mg for topical administration.

Melas Properties

Melas is an antibiotic with powerful antibacterial activity against a number of gram-positive organisms. On the other hand, Staphylococci, including the strains resistant to penicillin or to other antibiotics, are particularly susceptible to Melas. Besides pronounced antibacterial activity against the majority of organisms responsible for skin infection. Melas Cream Uses

Melas Cream/Ointment uses for treatment of skin infections caused by

• Staphylococci
• Streptococci
• Propionibacterium acnes

Melas Cream Administration

Melas Cream Contraindications

Melas H Cream is remarkably well tolerated, and there is an extremely low frequency of hypersensitivity reactions. However, as with other topical corticosteroid preparetions,

Melas-H Cream is contraindicated in

• Primary bacterial
• Viral infections
• Fungal skin infections
• Skin manifestation in relation to tuberculosis or syphilis
• Perioral dermatitis
• Rosacea

Melas Cream Special Warnings And Precautions

Melas Use In Pregnancy And Lactation

Melas Cream Overdose

Acute overdosage is very unlikely to occur. However, chronic Melas Overdosage or misuse may result in increased risk of topical or systemic side effects.
