Omega Capsules (Omeprazole) is supplied as delayed-release capsules for oral administration. Containing Omeprazole in enteric-coated pellets that disintegrate only in the alkaline environment of the intestines. Other; Rarely, malaise. Hypersensitivity reactions in including urticaria and, in isolated cases, angioedema, fever, bronchospasm and interstitial nephritis, and anaphylactic shock. Duodenal Ulcer

Acute Therapy; Omeprazole 20 mg given once daily, for up to 4 weeks.

Refractory Patients; Omeprazole 20 mg or Omeprazole 40 mg given once daily for up to 4 weeks.

Maintenance Therapy; Omeprazole 10 mg once daily, increased to 20 - 40 mg once daily as necessary.

Gastric Ulcer

Acute Therapy; Omeprazole 20 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks.

Refractory Patients; Omeprazole 40 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks.

Maintenance Therapy; Omeprazole 20 mg once daily, increased to 40 mg once daily as necessary.

Reflux Esophagitis

Acute Therapy Omeprazole 20 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks.

Refractory Omeprazole 40 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks.

Maintenance Therapy; Omeprazole 10 mg once daily, in recurrence, the dose can be increased to 20-40 mg once daily.

Symptomatic Gastroesophageal Omeprazole 20 mg once daily for up to 4 weeks.

Reflux Disease For maintenance of symptoms Omeprazole 10 mg given once daily.

NSAID Associated Gastric or Duodenal Ulcers

Acute Therapy; Omeprazole 20 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks.

Meanwhile, for the prevention of relapse Omeprazole 20 mg once daily given for up to 6 months.

Dyspepsia
Helicobacter pylori Associated Peptic Ulcer Disease

Omeprazole, Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin Triple Therapy: The recommended dose for the eradication of H.Pylori is OMEGA 20 mg, amoxicillin 1000 mg. And clarithromycin 500 mg, all twice daily for seven days.

Omeprazole, Metronidazole, and Clarithromycin Triple Therapy: The recommended dose for the eradication of H. Pylori is OMEGA 20 mg, metronidazole 500 mg, and clarithromycin 250 mg, all twice daily for seven days.

However, to ensure healing and symptom control, further treatment with Omeprazole 20 mg Omega Capsule once daily for up to three weeks is recommended for patients with active duodenal ulcer, and with 20-40 mg OMEGA once daily for up to twelve weeks for patients with active gastric ulcer.
