What Is Lagita Advance Syrup & Its Uses?
Lagita Advance Syrup and tablets are the combination of the generic medications named Sodium Alginate and Potassium Bicarbonate. Its generally recommended to use as Alginate component which help for the relief of painful symptoms caused by gastric acid and bile acid. On the other hand it also provide relief against symptoms like heartburn, dyspepsia heartburns, hiatus hernia, etc. The made of action is physical and dose not depend on absorption into the systemic circulation. It belongs of the group of medicines called ‘reflux suppressants’ which from a protective layer on top of the stomach contents to prevent stomach acid escaping from the stomach where is work into esophagus causing pain and discomfort.

Lagita advance tablets and syrup use for the treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux such as
- regurgitation
- heartburn
- indigestion
which may occur following meals or during pregnancy. Can also be used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux during concomitant treatment with or following withdrawal of acid suppressing therapy
Lagita Advance Syrup Dosage & Administration
Dosage For suspension
Adults and children over 12 year: 1-2 teaspoonfuls (5 to 10ml ) preferably after meals and at bed time Children under 12 years should be given on physician advise only
Dosage For Tablets
For oral administration, after being thoroughly chewed
Adults and children 12 years and over:
One to two tablets after meals and at bedtime
Children under 12 years:
Should be given on physician advice only
Elderly:
No dose modification necessary for this age group in elderly patients.

Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients or components used in this product.
Precautions & Warnings Details
The cautions should passed to the patients when they initially start the use of this medicine. When a highly restricted salt diet recommended, e.g.in some cause of congestion cardiac failure and renal impairment. As well as when taking drugs which can increase plasma potassium levels
Similarly a close and good care needs to taken in treating patients with hypercalcemia, nephrocalcaemia and recurrent calcium containing renal calculi.

Use In Lactation:
No known effect on breastfed infants have studied yet. Therefore, the medication can used during breastfeeding

Very rarely ( less than 1 in 10,000 patients treated) an allergic reaction to the ingredients may occur symptoms of this may include skin rash, difficulty in breathing, dizziness or swelling of lips, face, tongue or throat
Over Dosage Symptoms & Treatment
Most importantly in the case of any overdose, initially the symptomatic treatment should started for such patients. Meanwhile the symptoms of overdose may contains the symptoms like abdominal distension.
